Economic Empowerment Wi is a collective impact effort of Collaborators working to decrease
barriers to entrepreneurship for people of color by developing a continuum of support services
throughout the life cycle of an entrepreneurial enterprise.

We are building upon the strategic foundation to continue to provide resources, revenue streams, and guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs. EEWi will launch an Interactive Resource Map (IRMa) for collaborators, mentors and entrepreneurs.
IRMa will track the process of each entrepreneur unique needs-based resource development.

Meet Economic Empowerment Wisconsin

Using resource development to support entrepreneurs of color.

Coupling needs analysis and technical assistance with fund development to move entrepreneurs of color from grant recipients to qualified loan candidates to providing resources for basic needs like housing and food.

Step 1.

Referral and Intake

Our partner network refers entrepreneurs to our intake survey.
We start the process to needs based resource development,
and will give you access to the Interactive Resource Map (IRMa),
once it's build-out is completed.

Step 2.

Unmatched Mentorship

A needs-based approach to resource development.
Entrepreneurs receive technical assistance and mentorship from EEWi member partners,
along with a detailed plan to work through IRMa.

Step 3.

Network Development

EEWi is building a network of entrepreneurs and service organizations.
By joining our Network, you'll have access to our entire network to help foster new relationships.

Meeting Needs

Our entrepreneurs are matched with a mentor that helps them use IRMa (Interactive Resource Map) to get a tailored list of resources based on their needs.

Technical Assistance

Mentors provide entrepreneurs with success plans which include connections to service providers and recommended funding
opportunities.

On-going Evaluation

EEWi member partners remain as mentors conducting evaluations at least every three months to assess progress for up to one year after completion.
